What is Loan Engine?

Loan Engine is loan origination software (LOS) and loan management software (LMS) for private property lenders in Australia and New Zealand. Our system gives BDMs, Credit, and Operations one connected, end-to-end workspace to manage deals and loans from enquiry through to maturity.

Who is Loan Engine built for?

Private property lenders. Non-banks that offer bridging, residual stock, construction, working capital, and other loan types secured against property, with the exception of consumer mortgages. Most legacy origination and loan management products were built for consumer or commercial lending, creating challenges when they are used in the property context.

What problem are you solving?

Private property lenders play a critical and growing role in the economy. But the complexity of their loans, plus the lack of targeted, modern software creates huge operational overhead in every private lending business. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive operating system to the sector that eliminates repetitive work, minimises risk, and enables continued scale.

Is Loan Engine a lender?

No. We design and build software to support our private lending customers. This design process includes ongoing input and feedback from expert, active lenders from across the property lifecycle.

Where is your head office?

We’re proudly based in Auckland, New Zealand. Loan Engine is built from day one to service private lenders in both Australia and New Zealand. While we’re seeing lending technology innovation in the US and EU markets, we believe local lenders need a system and support hours optimised for the local market.
